Nicholas Smyth

Nicholas Smyth is an Irish Sound Designer based in London with experience across shorts, features and commercials.
From being nominated for a Grierson Award to having his work screened at festivals across the world including Tribeca and LFF, Nicholas has worked on a diverse range of projects that span all genres. Most recently he was awarded best sound at the RTS Student Awards for his work on the BAFTA-Longlisted short Death’s Peak.
Nick is also one half of Four Dots, with fellow Sound Designer, Joe Eccles. Their latest collaboration on 'The Peril at Pincer Point' has seen them both receive praise in Variety, Screen Daily after its debut screening at SWSW 2026.
